Veedersburg - Ernest D. "Bushel" Hesler, 74 of Rt 3, Veedersburg, died Tuesday evening after suffering an apparent heart attack while driving on a county road south of US 136 in Warren County. A life resident of Veedersburg he was a retired mechanic. He had attended Veedersburg HS. Born here May 24, 1900, he was a son of John and Anna Hershberger Hesler. He married Dottie Boord on March 11, 1921. She survives. Also surviving include a daughter, Mrs. William (Ethelyn) Shade of Peoria, Illinois; a son, Dean of Georgetown Ill; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Weigle of Attica and Mrs. Della Weir of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Osborn-Praire Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
